Yo Heart Libros. . .but

So, when I was teaching I would get almost any book from garage sales and 2nd hand stores.  I wasn't too picky about the books.  I just wanted plenty for the kids to choose from.  I would use my connections and make t-shirts and about loving books.  I am a big proponent for reading and books.

It has been a blessing to have so many books for my family.  But now I am getting a little annoyed.  I have hundreds of books but Marissa takes them off the shelves and looks for the same books. If she had her way I would read the same 3 or 4 books 10 times each.  I can't believe it but I end up hiding books.

The one I hate the most right now is The Best Mistake Ever.

Matt just happens to be reading this book and wearing this shirt while I write this post.

The list of books I dislike is growing. I have one Arthur book: Arthur's Reading Race- I will NOT read that.   Right now as much as I love Dr. Seuss One Fish Two Fish is on my list.  Also, Happy Easter Clifford.  I mean Easter is OVER. Do you blame me?  There are a couple in Spanish that involve singing that I just don't want to deal with.

So, Marissa and I have learned to love the library.  I can go and get good books and if I end up not liking them I can take them back.  So, I still heart libros.  But sometimes I have to tell her dad will read that one to her.  So, we choose a different book.  When ever she is dragging me by the finger somewhere and I ask here were we are going she says "library."  "Books everywhere."

I KNOW exactly how you feel on reading the same books over and over. I have my own little list of banned books ;) We are huge fans of the library, the ladies are always so surprised when we come to the counter with so many books!! We just love to read and like you said it's free to test them out. I love your updates, keep em coming.
