Uncle Ben

So, my little bro got back from his two year Mission for the LDS church in Milan, Italy at the end of August. In spite of my being 36 weeks pregnant Matt and I made the less than comfortable drive from Austin to meet him at the Airport.

This is the crew waiting for him to get off the plane.

This is him coming through the gate.

Many hugs were exchanged.

Some hugs were a little awkward.

This was Ben's first time to meet his new in-laws. He leaves for a couple years and comes back with his sisters married and a niece on the way. He was good. Between Danny, Ben, and my Dad I think they make fun of the new guys like they are part of the family.
Ben even brought us a few gifts. Mine is a snow globe! I was happy

I took all the pictures so I don't really have any of myself. This was not the most flattering but it works.

We picked him up from the Airport and went to Pancho's. It's all you can eat Mexican. It's not the highest quality but Ben was happy to be back in Texas.

On Sunday we had a few people over and made Enchiladas.
I couldn't help as much as I wanted so we put the new guys to work.

In true Garcia form after church we ate and took naps.

It was nice to see people for the weekend but now that he is back I have yet to figure out how to talk to him. He is in Utah w/o a phone. Funny how life is.

Try facebook! He may not talk much on there except for little 2-3 letter words. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I like your blog. Is your brother awkward on purpose?
