Matt and I are going to have a girl!! Matt comes from a family of four boys and I think this is going to be a great adventure. He will be inundated with pink bows and flowers. But, he is a good sport so I don't think he will even squirm.
We went to the Dr's appointment and I was not feeling to great. But she put me that stuff on me and all of a sudden we could see this thing moving around. We saw the little feet but I couldn't really recognize anything when the Dr and Matt were asking if I saw the feet. I felt like Rachel from Friends. But then she goes to another spot and there is the face! I saw it! Next thing you know she opens her mouth. It was great and weird too. I saw her face move. So, yep. The lady said she was yawning but I didn't know unborn babies needed to yawn. So, whatever.
I am really excited and I still have no names picked out. . . But Matt does. He says we should name her Grackle, Zzam, Mariah, Japheth or any other crazy thing he can think of. Don't worry though. I'll think of something. If you have any suggestions feel free to give them.

p.s. so are you still teaching, or did you take a permanent sabbatical due to H1N1?
Hooray for a girl! Our ward here gets 99.9% boy babies. Some of the girl's names in our ward to choose from: Delfina, Nakira, Nazirea, Teilhani, Tamorai, JaCoria, Janiya, Armani, Kiamesha ... Good luck choosing!

Whatever, I am in no way motivated to show my "everything's bigger in Texas" self. I just imagine me with a ever growing belly. . . I'm probably sitting on the couch.
This girl better hurry and I better get to see you so I can hold her! COngrats!
