soccer anyone?

We went to the doctor today. It won't be till next month that we know boy or girl. But, we listened to the heart beat. The doctor was a little surprised to hear how active the baby is. It kicked about six times during the minute he was listening to the heart beat. It made Matt smile. I told him we have a soccer player coming.
As we were walking out the Doctor asked me if I think it's going to be a boy or girl. Early on I had a few dreams about having a little girl. A beautiful little girl. So, I think it is going to be a girl. The doctor agreed with me. We will see.
As Matt and I ate our meal after the appointment he started naming all the things he could do with our very active baby: run, play soccer, play ultimate Frisbee, fly kites and many other things. I reminded him the baby needs to learn how to walk before many of these things can happen.
I kinda want a calm kid. I was a calm kid. But, I guess when my husband is so active how can I expect my kids not to want to run everywhere.
We have a poll for all of you to want to put in your two cents.

How fun! You better believe your baby's going to be climbing trees at about 6 months old with Matt as his/her dad!! Oh and I love your post about people touching your belly, it's the weirdest most annoying thing!!! You should totally touch theirs back, have you tried it??

Let's be honest here, your family needs to know that sometimes you can't control kids to be perfectly calm like you guys were, so I am hoping for a super active, then I won't feel bad that my kids aren't perfect like you guys were. :)

You're kid is going to kick their head. And I think it is a boy. Since when have you been calm???

Sandra face it,
you will not have a calm kid. Your husband is Matt. You forfeited that right when you got married.
