I am very happy to have a pool across the street from my house. Marissa and I are so glad the Harveys live so close that we can have friends when we go. She loves it. Many times she wakes up saying swimsuit. I have even gotten better at the whole sunscreen thing.
I took this picture because she was so cute in her stroller ready to go and she had put her sunglasses on upside-down. By the time I got the camera she fixed it. Did you know that here in Austin there is a drought? Yep, so that means it is over 100 everyday. Lately, I have been complaining to Matt about how I feel hot from the inside. He touches my skin and it feels cool to him but I still feel hot to myself.
The other day I had put Marissa down for a long nap after the pool and I felt hot. I remember thinking the air is on but I feel hot. Oh, the joys of being pregnant. A few hours later, when Marissa wakes up I notice the air is still running but it says 80 degrees. It was not me! The A/C was broken! I just assumed it was my hormones.
24 hrs and an a/c unit in the window later it is fixed. I am so happy to have my A/C back. I think maybe I'll try to stop complaining so much and be grateful for the amazing technology of Air Conditioning!

After working in the Thrift store we have become acclimated to the hotter weather. So now anything below 80 degrees is hot to us. :)
