October in Texas

Matt and I try to go to the temple every month.  So, what we end up doing is taking a couple of days and driving up to Dallas where we get free babysitting and a great time with some cousins of Marissa's.
This time we decided it was a great time to visit the Arboretum. In my old single life I lived next door to this place.  If I could live anywhere in Dallas I think I would choose the white rock area.  I just love the lake.

This time of year they are having a Pumpkin patch.  So, we persuaded my brothers family to meet us there and we had a great day!
First stop was a little petting zoo.  Marissa had no hesitation touching these animals. There was one point where she ended up with goat hair in her hand.  oops.. Sorry

I couldn't decide between these sheep pictures.  The one above this one is cute with her cousin Carina.  This one is funny cause I think the sheep was talking. So, you get both.
We took lots of fun pictures.  So, here are some of the highlights.  I love how kid pictures are candid no matter what I do.  This is in front of one of the "storybook" houses they have there.
Because it is Texas October does not stop us from enjoying a nice splash in the fountain.  I think this was Marissa's favorite part.
(above pics are cuter if you click on them and see the kids faces)
Before her cousins got there I took some pics of her in a costum.  Poor kitty.
We had a great day!

Thank you for posting these wonderful pictures of my wonderful grandchildren. I love it! It is great to get to enjoy the activity without having to walk around in the sun! I only wish that you would put YOUR picture in there sometimes. You know, your name is in the title of of the page.
Love,
Mom
