So, Marissa has been sick this week. The cute moment happened before. I don't know where she got it or how but it is really the first time she has had a real fever. It only lasted one day but that 24hrs was hard on me. She woke up and she was not playing. It was the strangest thing to see her so lethargic.
I am thankful that it came right after Matt got back from a trip to Florida. I am also thankful that it was not worse.
It just makes me wonder. Was there anything I could have done to prevent this? I mean I don't want to be a germophobic mom and I also don't really want her to play in the dirt. Is there a happy medium? I guess I'll learn as I go.

She's so cute and getting so big! Too bad she and Anna can't have a play date (read: Anna beats up on Marissa most likely date). Don't beat yourself up about the sickness thing. As Mindy says, kids can catch colds on the wind. Tim and I have tried to be germophobe parents, and our kids still get colds all the time.
