I often forget about the first impressions I got before I got to know Matt. I thought he was young and silly. Though, I know that is true there is more to him than that--
Matt is smart! I remember dating a few guys that I had to explain my word usage. I like words but my vocabulary is nothing to brag about. With Matt I never have to explain words. I studied history in college and though Matt is very much an engineer he knows history. After teaching kindergarten the last thing I wanted to do was explain more. With Matt is is more the opposite. I really don't understand most of what he does all day. I mean he is doing his Phd in Chemical engineering.
So, let me get to the point. Matt has been accepted to present at a conference. The conference is called ANTEC and it's in Florida during May. It's kind of a big deal. He is also getting an paper published in the Polymer Journal.
I know that everyone subscribes to that so be sure to read it when you get it. And when you do. Can you explain it to me?
I think I'm pretty lucky to find such a great guy.

You know what is crazy? I did not know that he was going to Florida. So sad that I did not know, considering I see you every week. Are you going to go with him?
Congratulations! First impressions are funny. If I saw Matt like the first picture I would probably think young and silly too. :) But it is obvious what a great person he is. Thanks for a great uncle.
I am so happy that you found such a wonderful husband and father for your children. I just love that picture of Matt vacuuming while holding Marissa on his chest, too cute!!! She sure is a cutie.
