Christmas with the Garcias

What a crazy and fun Christmas. I was sad it had to end so quick. We got to spend it with my family this year. My brothers were supposed to fly in to Dallas and then drive down to Austin with my parents Christmas Eve. It was a little icy and snowy in Dallas and so everyone freaked out. My brother's flight got delayed. They ended up in the airplane waiting for a few hours after waiting in the airport.

By the time they got to Dallas it was the middle of the night.

It was afternoon on Christmas day when they arrived so they missed some of the fun.

It's like the laugh can't stay in any longer so it has to come out. The other day someone asked me the best part about being a mom. I think that her laugh was the first thing that comes to mind.

So because Lorena was here we made enchiladas. It was kinda fun to have them come and the food be all ready. It was better than a restaurant.

Marissa got to meet some more uncles.

The next day was full board games. . .

Video games . . .

Foosball. . .

and even some arm wrestling.

I didn't take as many pictures of the fun as I wanted. I think I was waiting for Sunday. But they had to go early Sunday. So, it ended quickly.

We did play Guitar Hero but my dad didn't want to play after watching the video of himself from last time.

Grandma was so happy to see Marissa again. It is nice to have extra hands to help.
