Our prayers have been answered in so many ways!
Of course Anson was born. It was a crazy 23 hrs of labor that ended in a C-section to get this big boy out of me. (He was too big and he had his hand by his head). But, we are so happy and grateful that he is healthy and happy. We are still working on getting a routine down for me and him and Marissa but Matt!
Matt has finished. His dissertation was on "Melt Processed Polymer Organoclay Nanocomposites." I love how the spell check says that two of those words are spelled wrong. That's how smart Matt is. You can now call him Dr. Spencer. Or Matt Spencer PhD. I will go by the name of Mrs. Dr Spencer. Ha!
| Matt brought home a bound copy and it found its way here. |
Matt is working for a company called Green Source Energy as a polymer engineer. He is doing more things spell check won't recognize as correct: Devulcanization of rubber.
People often ask me how he likes his job. I think right now we are just barely getting over the whiplash that all the changes at once have brought on. So, Matt seems to be happy and getting acclimated to his job and lack of sleep.
And, I feel blessed. Many people have helped us so much and they keep helping. People have brought over meals and helped me with Marissa. Grandparents are more than willing to stay up late or wake up early to hold my baby and let me get some sleep. I know I am not good at the Thank Yous so here is a big THANK YOU For all the help. We are truly blessed!
